Chomp

Bloop pack critter: a grape ball that is nearly all mouth, hinged at the back, with big square teeth, a lolling tongue and googly eyes up on bendy stalks. It hums along, nibbles the air in quick little noms, and every few seconds opens wider and wider, then snaps shut so hard it squashes and its eye stalks whip about. A tap makes it chomp.
